The main thrust of this web page is to show the two available bolt down bases and a few examples of their versatility in adaption to a particular application.
This particular bolt to the floor swivel chair base below has a wide variety of setups which can be used. Originally intended as a Jury chair base.

Gas cylinder bolt downCenter above, 1 3/4" (45mm) column tube is available in standard stock lengths or custom sized to suit specific requirements. Select from a variety of painted finishes or chromed steel. For medium duty seating uses. Many manual style swivel or tilt mechanisms are also available for this bolt down base configuration. Aluminum base has 6 holes for bolting, 8 1/4" diameter. Textured powder coated and reinforced to give years of service.

All size and column diameter COMplete gas cylinders are accepted. Bolt down plate is 1/4" thick plate steel with 6 bolt holes. No hole in floor necessary for operation.
