When needing a Heavy Duty replacement office chair mechanism, this one says it all! The steel is extra thick 10 gauge. Curved up edges add even more strength and rigidity.
Notice the lever handle at the rear. This lever when activated will with a single flip of the lever lock the chair in an upright or any lean back position the user chooses.
With its noiseless bearings, strong spring steel adjustable large forward tension knob, this gas mechanism is ideal for intensive use or the heavy weight user.
There are plenty of holes that can be used. The 4 most commonly used slotted holes are:
- Front to back slot centers-7 3/16"
- Side to side slot centers-4"
